Davi Kopenawa Yanomami
Davi Kopenawa Yanomami was born in Toototobi, Amazonas, Brazil, in 1956. He is a shaman and the most recognised leader of the Yanomami people. He co-authored The Falling Sky and performed a central role in the demarcation of the Yanomami Indigenous Territory.
