Yonejirō Noguchi

Yonejirō Noguchi was born in 1875 in Tsushima, Japan. After arriving in San Francisco in 1893, Noguchi worked as a journalist and published his first poems in the magazine The Lark. His collections include The Pilgrimage and Selected Poems of Yone Noguchi. He died on July 13, 1947.
